About The Position

The Ben E. Keith ASPIRE Corporate Credit Internship is a paid, 11-week rotational experience designed to offer students a comprehensive understanding of the company's operations and the foodservice industry. The Corporate Credit Intern will support the Credit and Finance team in evaluating customer creditworthiness, monitoring account activity, and assisting with projects related to risk assessment and receivables management. This internship provides hands-on experience in corporate credit analysis, financial statement review, and exposure to the decision-making process that helps safeguard company assets while supporting business growth.

Requirements

Actively enrolled students entering their senior year or current seniors
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Must submit a resume with their application
Working toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Interest in credit, risk management, and corporate finance

Responsibilities

Assist with the review and analysis of customer credit applications and financial statements
Conduct research on current and prospective customers to assess credit risk
Help monitor customer accounts for payment activity, aging reports, and credit limit adherence
Support the team in preparing documentation for credit reviews and internal reporting
Partner with collections and sales teams to resolve account issues
Contribute to projects that enhance credit processes, systems, and reporting
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
