About The Position

We are seeking an experienced corporate attorney to support a broad range of commercial and corporate matters partnering closely with the internal business team to provide practical business-oriented advice in fast paced and dynamic business environment.

Requirements

• JD Degree
• 3 to 10 years of relevant legal experience (law firm or in house)
• New York bar admission
• Must be well suited for a fast pace entrepreneurial environment
• Ability to lead and interact with the senior levels of the organization
• Comfortable in rolling sleeves in a lean environment
• Strong team, interpersonal and communication skills
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including customer charter agreements, strategic sourcing and vendor agreements, aircraft-related services and MRO support contracts, facilities and airport leasing contracts, and ground handling, fueling, catering, and logistics contracts.
• Develop and maintain contract templates and playbooks to streamline procurement processes.
• Advise procurement teams on risk allocation, contract strategy, and supplier disputes.
• Provide assistance on key corporate transactions including JVs and acquisition.
• Lead legal support for IT related agreements.
• Provide advice on cybersecurity data, protection and data processing.
• Provide support on general corporate and legal matters including day-to-day legal counsel on general corporate matters across business units.
• Support governance, policy development, and internal compliance initiatives.
• Assist with managing corporate branches.
• Assist with dispute resolution, claims, and pre-litigation matters.
• Collaborate with external counsel as needed.
• Work closely with procurement, finance, operations, compliance, and executive leadership.
• Translate legal risks into clear, actionable business guidance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of legal processes and contract lifecycle management.
