About The Position

24-MAG LLC is seeking experienced in-house Corporate Counsel for a specialised, part-time, fully remote independent-contractor consulting engagement supporting an advanced legal AI training and evaluation project. The work focuses on technology transactions, contract drafting and redlining, negotiation, legal playbooks, commercial agreement review, and evaluation of AI-generated legal outputs. The selected professional will perform simulated negotiations and contract exercises involving technology and commercial agreements, including MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs. They will assess contractual and commercial risks, draft and revise provisions, apply playbooks and negotiation positions, and evaluate whether proposed language serves business and legal objectives. They will also review AI responses to contract scenarios, identify errors or missed risks, and provide structured legal feedback. The role includes developing objective, repeatable grading criteria for drafting, negotiation, and redlining tasks; applying those standards consistently; and refining evaluation methods as project needs evolve. The consultant will collaborate with product, research, and technical teams, communicate legal reasoning to non-legal stakeholders, and help improve AI-driven contract-review workflows and training materials. Project scope, workload, scenarios, and evaluation standards may change according to project requirements. Work must not use confidential or privileged information belonging to any employer, client, law firm, institution, or other third party. The displayed compensation range is $100–$130 per hour, but compensation is task-based and paid per completed task that meets project specifications. Average handling time is approximately 3.5 hours per task, and effective hourly compensation depends on the number of tasks completed and successfully signed off.

  • Create objective grading criteria and repeatable evaluation standards for contract-related AI tasks.
  • Apply grading criteria consistently and refine evaluation methods as project requirements evolve.
  • Collaborate with product, research, and technical teams to refine data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-driven contract review.
