About The Position

Exciting opportunity to support our global Amazon Private Brands business, as lead product counsel! You will provide legal guidance on product and service launches, regulatory issues, and advice on commercial and compliance related initiatives for business. Help us build more products that customers love! This role covers the full spectrum of legal issues faced by the business, including new product development, catalog quality, localization, contract negotiation, and supply chain issues. You will collaborate with numerous teams across Amazon including Social Responsibility, Sustainability, IP, Privacy, Competition, Product Safety and Compliance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of legal experience
• Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Support business leaders as lead counsel on product development right through to launch.
• Counsel on regulatory and compliance matters, respond to regulatory inquiries.
• Provide day-to-day, customer-focused advice.
• Handle pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.
