About The Position

The Corporate Controller will be responsible for owning budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning, preparing and managing financial statements and reports, overseeing audits, tax filings, and compliance (U.S. + India), and supporting investor updates and board materials. Additionally, this role will manage compensation and benefits programs (U.S. + India), build scalable HR processes (onboarding, performance reviews, L&D), shape talent acquisition strategy with local teams, and foster culture and employee engagement. The Corporate Controller will also lead and collaborate with the finance & HR team (India-based), identify future U.S. support roles as the company scales, promote collaboration and accountability across functions, and oversee day-to-day office operations and vendor relationships, acting as a point of contact for external service providers.

Requirements

  • 6–10 years of experience in a Controller or full-charge bookkeeping role, with direct responsibility for: Accounts receivable and payable, Financial statement preparation, Budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis (FP&A), Regulatory compliance
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related discipline
  • In Person at Schenectady, NY HQ

Nice To Haves

  • CPA designation preferred
  • Prior experience in a startup or high-growth company, with a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong HR experience, particularly in managing or supporting distributed/global teams
  • Experience with CRMs, accounting software and general workflow automation
  • Experience with international compliance and taxation, particularly U.S.–India operations
  • Background in the technology or AI software sector
