About The Position

Come join a fast-growing behavioral health organization! We are looking for an experienced Controller to lead accounting operations across multiple inpatient psychiatric hospitals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment and wants to play a key role in supporting organizational growth and financial performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
• 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Lookups; Power Query a plus)
• Experience with accounting/ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Problem-solver with strong analytical and organizational skills
• Effective communication and ability to work both independently and on a team

Nice To Haves

• Experience in healthcare or multi-entity organizations preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including financial statements, consolidations, and intercompany transactions
• Ensure accuracy of financial data and maintain balance sheet integrity
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and treasury functions
• Lead internal controls, compliance efforts, and audit readiness
• Coordinate internal and external audits, including year-end reporting
• Oversee revenue, lease, and capital project accounting
• Drive process improvements and enhance financial reporting efficiency
• Provide financial analysis, KPIs, and decision support to leadership
• Support and mentor accounting staff
