About The Position

The Corporate & Community Events Producer owns the full process of the third-party event rental at Grandscape from advertising through event management. The ultimate goal for the role will be to drive incremental revenue for Grandscape through growing the event space rental portion of the business by thoroughly understanding the competitive landscape, effectively marketing the space in the industry, managing the event logistics smoothly to create a good customer experience. Evenings and weekends are required for this position.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Hospitality
3 years of sales, marketing, advertising or public relations experience
Self-starting personality who takes initiative.
Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with vendors, guests, staff and management.
Must work well on a team and be willing to assist peers in workload.
Basic knowledge of mathematics and calculator skills to prepare mathematical calculations without error.
Familiarity with market trends and the industry’s best practices.
Accuracy and speed in handling “in the moment” conditions and providing solutions with hospitality and guest experience as a priority.
Ability to work nights, weekends and some holidays based on the business needs

Experience with the relevant market including knowledge of competitors, local events, charities, etc. preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop advertising and marketing strategy for introducing Grandscape as an event destination for the local community and corporations
Ensures all contracts and permits are coordinated with legal and accounting and coordinates on any permit requests through The City of The Colony
Respond and manage the communication process with all prospective customers
Actively seeks rentals by outbound marketing
Acts as liaison between customer and Grandscape businesses, and customer and 3rd party rental agencies throughout the event process. Makes presence known to customer at all times during this process. Is available to solve problems and/or suggest alternatives to previous arrangements
