About The Position

Assists with corporate communication programs, activities and materials that project a consistent, professional and positive corporate image to stakeholders that include, but are not limited to, employees, customers, the communities in which the company operates, national and industrial news media and appropriate governmental and regulatory officials. Prepares and issues media news releases, and interviews, as/when appropriate. Supports internal and external communication efforts of the company’s Corporate Human Resources Division, Legal Division, manufacturing subsidiaries (FPC TX, FPC LA, FPC DE), business operating divisions, the Livingston, NJ site and business-only aspects of Neumin Production, Lavaca Pipe Line and Formosa Hydrocarbons. Monitors media for news and content relating to the company’s facilities, activities and public image, alerts and advises senior management and division heads of important developments and serves as the company’s media spokesperson in notable situations and crisis events.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and distribution of internal and external communications, including employee announcements, newsletters, corporate updates, website content, social media posts, and other communication materials.
  • Gather information from departments, business divisions, and operating locations to develop accurate, timely, and engaging content that highlights Company activities, accomplishments, programs, and initiatives.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating FPC USA’s corporate website, intranet, social media platforms, and other digital communication channels.
  • Support the development of the Company’s employee newsletter, including coordinating content submissions, drafting and editing articles, organizing photographs and supporting materials, and assisting with publication and distribution.
  • Assist in developing presentations, informational materials, graphics, signage, and other communication resources that support corporate, business, and site-level initiatives.
  • Support consistent application of FPC USA’s brand standards, visual identity, and corporate messaging across communication materials and platforms.
  • Collaborate with departments and operating locations to support communication needs and help ensure information is presented clearly, accurately, and consistently with Company messaging.
  • Assist with communications related to Company programs, community involvement, employee activities, sustainability initiatives, business accomplishments, and other corporate activities.
  • Support the coordination and development of photography, video, graphics, and other visual content for use across FPC USA communication channels.
  • Assist with tracking communication performance and engagement, including website, social media, newsletter, and other available communication metrics.
  • Review and proofread communication materials for accuracy, grammar, formatting, brand consistency, and overall quality prior to publication or distribution.
  • Support Corporate Communications leadership with special projects, events, executive communications, media-related activities, and other communication needs as assigned.
