Corporate Cash Management Sales Officer, US Solution Sales
About The Position
As a Cash Management Sales Officer within Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Bank, you will partner with coverage bankers and product experts to originate United States cash management opportunities for international multinationals operating in the US. You will have ownership over a growing set of clients where you will be the primary point of contact for US Treasurers relating to payments, liquidity, Foreign Exchange, and Account Structuring. Your ability to independently grow client relationships (both new and existing) will be imperative to the success of this role, along with a deep understanding of US treasury and cash management services.
Requirements
- High-level of expertise in treasury management, payments technology, liquidity, foreign exchange, and risk management
- Ability to bring together internal resources to meet client needs with teamwork and internal networking abilities
- Ability to function well independently or as part of a team
- Strategic and broad thinking on clients and innovative ideas
- Ability to conceptualize client cases and solutions in PowerPoint presentations with an attention to detail
- Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimize workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs
Nice To Haves
- Background in cash management within banking and/or treasury management (preferably proficient experience)
- Access to treasury relationships / clientele, particularly US Regional Treasurers of international corporations
- Experience writing proposals and scaling solutions
- Resourcefulness; the ability to take initiative and ownership of projects and assignments, at times with more autonomy and little direction.
- German speaking is a plus
Responsibilities
- Dedicated product sales officer focused on United States Cash Management mandates from non-US headquartered, global corporations, especially German MidCap clients
- Manage a portfolio of existing and prospective clients by sourcing new business with revenue targets, including expectations to originate new client relationships
- Develop in-depth knowledge of cash management products and services and understand linkages to covered industries
- Drive and own the ‘Request-for-Proposal’ process to win/defend new cash management mandates
- Prepare client proposals and presentations with global stakeholders including call reports and active client follow-up
- Assist with portfolio management planning including client plans, pipeline reporting, and revenue tracking
- Liaise with key business partners including relationship managers, operations, customer service, implementation, product management, risk, and compliance to ensure client and business objectives are met
- Become the key point of contact – both internally and externally – for a broad range of clients, particularly for US operations and representation
- Shape the development of a junior-talent pool designed to support you with your day-to-day client responsibilities
