At Regions, the Corporate Banking Strategic Partner works across the Corporate Banking Group or a Corporate Banking business segment by providing support with business process review and design, defining end-to-end strategic roadmaps, translating business architecture needs and establishing initiatives to enable continuous improvement, business innovation and optimization and innovative client-associate experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree and five (5) years’ experience in business analysis, project or change management, or other related business unit experience

Responsibilities

  • Acts as consultant regarding various business needs and requirements
  • Conducts business process current state assessments, identification of gaps, and designs future state processes to evolve or react to continuous industry or internal changes
  • Proactively identifies business unit issues, assisting in root cause analysis and identifying solutions that clearly articulate strategic opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Supports the full lifecycle of strategic projects from inception to execution, formulating solutions to key business issues and opportunities
  • Pursues new opportunities for business innovation and optimization via extensive customer and market research, monitoring industry and economic trends, conducting competitive analysis, and recognizing potential enhancements – performing root cause analysis to recommend, prioritize and facilitate the appropriate corresponding strategy
  • Evaluates processes, procedures, and people to identify continuous improvement opportunities
  • Builds both technical and non-technical initiatives, advanced execution plans and growth strategies
  • Owns key deliverables that communicate segment performance for continuous improvement and management reporting
  • Develops qualitative and quantitative business unit and market research, including client profiling and segmentation, performance reporting, industry and economic overviews
  • Develops business group communication strategy around changes that impact the business
  • Contributes to workflow or process change and redesign, and risk and control identification
