About The Position

The Corporate Banking Senior Associate is an intermediate-level professional who leads the planning of investment strategies and solutions for major market clients in coordination with the Institutional Banking team. The role aims to drive revenue by cross-selling Citi’s platform, efficiently deploying the firm’s capital, and evaluating and managing risk.

The Senior Associate supports relationship management and day-to-day banking activities, helps identify client needs and cross-sell products and services, and develops strategic and financial analyses. The position also requires staying current on market and industry trends, best practices, and the competitive landscape.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience.
• Strong credit skills, a credit background, and knowledge of Citi’s credit policies.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

• Series 79 and 63.
• Knowledge of the power sector.
• MBA or Master’s Degree in Business.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Senior Bankers to provide overall relationship management support.
• Assist with day-to-day cash management activities, trading initiatives, vendor finance, foreign exchange, loan activity, debt capital markets efforts, share repurchase, and interest rate/equity derivatives.
• Support Bankers in cross-selling the full spectrum of products and services by identifying customer needs to generate revenue.
• Evaluate public filings, research reports, operations, business plans, and financial forecasts to produce strategic and financial analyses.
• Stay abreast of market and industry trends, best practices, and the competitive landscape.
