The group is responsible for the portfolio management of BMO's risk exposure to a number of trading products and lending portfolios for GM clients, and includes reviewing and analyzing the client’s financial performance, establishing and maintaining limits, obtaining credit approvals, and continual monitoring of the portfolio. The group is organized under 5 key portfolios: Financial Institutions Group (including Global Banks and Insurance, and Fund Managers), Hedge Funds and Broker Dealers, Real Estate (including Mortgage Originators and Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS)), Securitization and Structured Margin Loans, and Commodities and Diversified Products. The products covered by the group include (but are not limited to): Derivatives, Securities Financing, Cash Products, Metals Solutions & Commodities, Margin Lending, and Securitized Products (across various asset classes).
