About The Position
Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP is seeking a Corporate Associate to join its International and Immigration team in Washington, DC. This role will support partner and senior associate attorneys by conducting legal research and drafting contracts and other legal documents. As part of an AmLaw100 firm, this position offers a chance to join an expanding practice that provides a variety of litigation services across different industries. The International and Immigration team assists clients with U.S. immigration visas for non-U.S. personnel, relocation of U.S. personnel internationally for multinational start-ups, and engagement with government officials regarding visa classifications and border admissions.
Requirements
- Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Completed graduate coursework in international subjects (e.g., law, trade law, arbitration, public rights).
- Completed coursework in business-government relations and global corporate responsibility.
- Licensed with a State Bar Association.
Responsibilities
- Assist partner attorneys and senior associate attorneys with legal research.
- Provide drafts of contracts and other legal documents.
