About The Position

We are seeking a mid-senior level corporate associate with four - six years of experience advising public companies or investment banks for our Capital Markets and Public Companies group. Experience must include advising public companies with respect to SEC compliance, disclosure, governance and exchange matters, as well as representing either issuers or investment banks in capital market transactions, including IPOs, SPACs, direct listings and follow-on offerings. The position is available in any of our Bay Area (Silicon Valley or San Francisco), Seattle, Santa Monica, New York or Washington D.C. offices. Requirements

  • Four - six years of experience advising public companies or investment banks for our Capital Markets and Public Companies group
  • Experience must include advising public companies with respect to SEC compliance, disclosure, governance and exchange matters
  • Experience must include representing either issuers or investment banks in capital market transactions, including IPOs, SPACs, direct listings and follow-on offerings
  • Superior academic credentials
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
  • Must be barred in the state of the office they are submitting their application for or are eligible to sit/waive into the next bar exam

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with, or affinity for, technology and/or life sciences companies is preferred
