This role is for a highly motivated Corporate Asset Development Engineer Intern who will accelerate data needs. Open to petroleum, mechanical, and chemical engineering majors. Double-majors in Computer Science are an excellent plus.

Requirements

A cumulative and major GPA of 3.2 or higher.
Pursuing a degree from a recognized institute of higher learning.
Graduating with a bachelor's degree from December 2027 through May 2029.
Skilled with Aries, Whitson, and MS Office.
Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills.
Strong analytical skills and ability to handle complex datasets.
Demonstrated ability to work well in teams.

Nice To Haves

Double-majors in Computer Science.
Experience with Snowflake, Claude, or Palantir.
Experience with PowerBI/Spotfire or other data visualization/analytical tools.
Reservoir modeling experience.

Responsibilities

Create and discover reservoir development plans, collaborating with the Geoscience team to optimize future well placement and investigate well interventions on existing wells to maximize field value.
Assess patterns and trends in wells using AI tools.
Collaborate with Subsurface Technology to optimize well design and maximize value.
Evaluate economics and profitability of potential projects and recommend projects for execution.
