About The Position

The Corporate and Community Partnerships Manager is responsible for developing and managing relationships with businesses, corporations, and community groups to expand engagement and support for Neighborhood House. This role focuses on generating and coordinating in-kind donations, sponsorships, and volunteer engagement opportunities that advance the organization’s mission and fundraising efforts. The Manager works closely with the Chief Advancement Officer and advancement colleagues to align partnership activities with organizational priorities and donor engagement strategies. This position plays a key role in expanding pathways for corporate and community involvement while supporting key initiatives such as the March Food Drive and the annual fundraising gala.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in partnership development, fundraising, sales, event coordination, or related field.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and partnerships simultaneously.
  • Experience using CRM or database systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with corporate partnerships or sponsorship programs.
  • Experience coordinating donation drives or volunteer programs.
  • Experience in nonprofit development or community engagement.
  • Ability to speak one or more languages spoken by our participant families, especially Spanish, Karen, Hmong, and Somali.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with corporate and community partners to increase engagement and support.
  • Identify and pursue partnership opportunities, including sponsorships, in-kind donations, and employee engagement.
  • Represent Neighborhood House in meetings, presentations, and community events to build awareness and interest.
  • Maintain and grow a pipeline of partners that support both mission delivery and fundraising efforts.
  • Coordinate and manage in-kind donation drives with businesses, schools, and community organizations.
  • Align donations with programmatic needs in collaboration with program and operations teams.
  • Monitor and track in-kind contributions and partner activity within the CRM.
  • Improve and standardize processes for managing in-kind donations and partnerships.
  • Coordinate community and corporate participation in the annual March Food Drive.
  • Recruit and support partners hosting food and fund drives.
  • Collaborate with advancement and volunteer teams to ensure a coordinated and effective campaign.
  • Partner with the Volunteer team to connect corporate partners with meaningful service opportunities.
  • Coordinate logistics and communication for corporate volunteer groups.
  • Support strategies that encourage ongoing engagement and long-term partnership.
  • Identify and manage corporate sponsorship opportunities within assigned relationships.
  • Coordinate with the Chief Advancement Officer and advancement team to align sponsorship efforts with event strategy.
  • Support partner engagement in the annual gala and other key initiatives.
  • Ensure timely and thoughtful follow-up with partners to strengthen relationships.
  • Support recognition and stewardship efforts for corporate and community partners.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of engagement and contributions in the CRM.
