This role sits at the intersection of planning, coordination, and execution, supporting the VP of CAI directly while serving as the connective tissue across the CAI team: Stakeholder Relations, External Communications, and Impact. It is a high-exposure position that works with teams across the organization at both the corporate and business unit level. The CAI Manager will work at the center of one of the most consequential moments in AES's history, as the company executes its Powering the Future strategy. They will help translate strategy into action, keep the global CAI team aligned and moving, support the VP in high-stakes moments, and represent AES externally at events and forums. To do this well, the CAI Manager needs to be equally sharp on substance, systems, and relationships. This is an accelerated career experience for someone with the drive, judgment, and intellectual curiosity to make the most of it. The person in this seat will acquire a deep understanding of how a world-class corporate affairs function operates, a network that spans industries and geographies, and valuable knowledge on the intersection of energy, geopolitics, stakeholder strategy, and corporate transformation as a global energy company navigates one of the most consequential moments in its history.
