About The Position

The Aramco Americas Washington, D.C. Office Corporate Advisor will perform a full range of multi-disciplinary professional administrative, analytic and advisory support roles. The Corporate Advisor will be joining a small but dynamic and highly experienced group that provides impactful policy and business-related assessments to senior management across the enterprise. The Corporate Advisor will take on responsibility for tracking regulatory, policy, industry, and market developments in a wide range of issue areas that are critical to the company. The Corporate Advisor will be required to provide accurate, well-written, well-researched, concise, user-friendly briefs/reports and presentation materials that are tailored to meet the needs of an internal client base on a high frequency basis. The Corporate Advisor will be required to work collaboratively on all work products and engagements. The Corporate Advisor will contribute to signature reports that the Washington office provides to management. The Corporate Advisor will help maintain and improve knowledge management systems for the Washington office. The Corporate Advisor will represent the company in engagements with partner organizations and actively work to assess potential new partners. The Corporate Advisor will help develop and maintain a strong Washington network.

Requirements

  • Six to 10 years of experience in relevant role, preferably one that aligns with or is linked to the energy industry.
  • Experience in management consulting and corporate strategy is particularly relevant.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field, such as International Relations, Economics, Business Administration, Communications, etc., is required.
  • Superior communications skills – both written and verbal.
  • Written products – emails, briefs, reports, presentation materials – must be of the highest caliber. They must be precise, concise, useful, easy to read, well-formatted and reflect a high degree of professionalism.
  • Strong presentation skills. Candidate must be able to communicate effectively in small and large group meetings, lead meetings and discussions, and provide useful written briefs on the engagements.
  • Strong research skills. Candidate must have strong skills to acquire and assess primary and secondary sources of high-integrity, useful information from a variety of resources.
  • Strong ability to work to deadlines. Candidate must have demonstrated experience in successfully delivering high quality products under tight deadlines.
  • Highly organized, able to juggle a multitude of projects and tasks simultaneously if needed.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills and a high degree of intellectual stamina to take on new tasks.
  • Demonstrated track record of working successfully in team environments.
  • Creative, with an ability to absorb information quickly and use visual and storytelling acumen to present analysis in a strategic context for a corporate audience.
  • Strong project management skills and have a demonstrated track record of taking an idea from concept to final deliverable.
  • Strong interest and experience in innovating work processes via new software, deliverables, and/or knowledge management systems.
  • Familiarity with using AI in a workplace setting, and demonstrate strong interest in taking office lead in adopting AI tools to improve workplace efficiency and innovation.
  • Fluent in MS Word and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in relevant field is preferred.
  • Some experience in tracking and analyzing policy developments and implications is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Track policy and regulatory developments as assigned and provide updates and assessments as needed in a variety of deliverables, both written and verbal.
  • Attend issue-specific events and meetings, track primary research and news publications, and network with subject matter experts.
  • Prepare reports and memos on topics of relevance to senior management and subject matter experts across the company.
  • Take the lead in using the latest technology to enhance analytical report formatting and visuals.
  • Work closely in collaboration with DC office colleagues in all project areas.
  • Collaborate across the enterprise regionally and with subsidiaries as needed and as directed to facilitate work projects.
  • Support executive engagements as directed by providing briefing materials, support in developing agendas, and other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain and improve knowledge management systems for the Washington office.
  • Represent the company in engagements with partner organizations and actively work to assess potential new partners.
  • Develop and maintain a strong Washington network.
