Requirements

  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science
  • Demonstrates proficiency with key business tools, including the Microsoft Office Suite, along with knowledge of SAS or statistical programming
  • Shows a high level of rigor, strong teamwork skills, and professional curiosity that support the quality of their deliverables
  • Recognized for excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex actuarial concepts into clear and accessible language in French
  • Has a minimum of one year of relevant actuarial experience and is actively pursuing CAS or CIA examinations toward the ACAS/FCAS and/or ACIA/FCIA designation

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the valuation of actuarial reserves in accordance with recognized standards
  • Contribute to the preparation of actuarial financial statements and supporting documentation
  • Support financial projections as part of the business planning process
  • Participate in work related to the Financial Condition Testing (FCT), ORSA, and capital analyses
  • Contribute to profitability analyses and performance monitoring
  • Produce analyses, reports, and performance indicators to support management and decision-making
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of actuarial processes and cross-functional projects
