As a Corporate Actuarial Advisor, you will play a key role in financial analysis, risk management, and strategic decision-making, directly supporting the Corporate Finance and Actuarial Vice Presidency. Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science
  • A minimum of four years of actuarial experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry
  • Strong knowledge of actuarial standards and industry practices
  • Solid financial modeling and quantitative analysis skills
  • Advanced understanding of actuarial methodologies and best practices
  • Proficiency with Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite, as well as statistical programming tools (SAS or equivalent) and Power BI
  • An intermediate level of English proficiency to interact occasionally with unilingual English-speaking partners (approximately 15% of the time)

Nice To Haves

  • FCAS/FCIA designation (a strong asset)

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate technical reserves in accordance with recognized standards and industry best practices
  • Prepare the Appointed Actuary’s Report and actuarial financial statements
  • Develop financial projections (premiums, claims, commissions, etc.) to support business planning
  • Contribute to capital analyses (FCT and ORSA) and risk modeling initiatives
  • Analyze product profitability and provide optimization recommendations
  • Contribute to the design and optimization of reinsurance programs
  • Develop and monitor actuarial performance indicators while supporting the continuous improvement of practices and processes
  • Coordinate actuarial activities and deliverables presented to governance bodies
  • Act as a subject matter expert by supporting the team in resolving complex issues and prioritizing work
  • Produce strategic analyses to support decision-making
  • Collaborate closely with business partners to align actuarial priorities with organizational objectives
