About The Position

The Corporate Accounting Clerk supports the Company’s accounting and finance operations by performing daily, weekly, and monthly accounting tasks related to casino revenue, compliance reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger support. This role ensures accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance in all financial documentation and works closely with property level accounting teams and corporate leadership.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google products.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross functional teams.

Nice To Haves

  • associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
  • 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience in casino or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., Great Plains, Sage, Oracle, or similar) preferred.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP) preferred.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
  • Ability to work with sensitive financial and gaming information discreetly.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Process vendor invoices, verify coding, and ensure proper approvals in accordance with Company policy.
  • Prepare check runs, ACH payments, and vendor reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate vendor files and respond to vendor inquiries.
  • Assist with billing, collections, and reconciliation of accounts receivable balances.
  • Prepare journal entries with appropriate documentation and accuracy.
  • Assist with month end close processes, including reconciliations of assigned balance sheet accounts.
  • Maintain organized financial records in accordance with retention policies.
  • Support preparation of financial statements and internal management reports.
  • Ensure all accounting activities comply with state gaming regulations, internal controls, and Company policies.
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of financial and gaming related information.
  • Coordinate with property level accounting teams to resolve discrepancies or missing documentation.
  • Assist with corporate projects, system updates, and process improvements.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Accounting and Finance departments as needed.
