About The Position

Harvard Developments has an immediate opening for a qualified Corporate Accountant to join our dedicated, forward-thinking team in Regina. Our ideal candidate will have a post-secondary degree or diploma and an accounting major with 3 to 5 years of related experience, including exposure to corporate tax and owner-level tax planning. Requirements

Post-secondary degree or diploma with an accounting major.
3 to 5 years of related experience.
Exposure to corporate tax and owner-level tax planning.
Strong aptitude for technology and the ability to use, learn and leverage it in a variety of applications within the accounting field.
Advanced excel skills and proficiency with other relevant applications.
Initiative, ability to multitask, and ability to problem solve.
The ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Possess strong attention to detail, problem solving skills and professionalism.
Experience with tax planning and compliance, particularly within privately held structures.

Responsibilities

Preparation of working paper files, financial statements, and corporate and/or other tax returns.
Preparing and analyzing financial information (such as budgets, cash flow projections and tax projections).
Preparation of journal entries, and GST/HST and/or PST returns.
Other accounting duties related to the maintenance of books of account.
