About The Position

GC Realty & Development is seeking a Corporate Accountant to manage the corporate books for their growing property management and brokerage company. • 3+ years of corporate or staff accounting experience with QuickBooks Online and payroll.
  • Associates degree or equivalent in Business, Accounting, or Finance required.
  • Understanding of profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow management, ideally in property management or real estate.
  • Sharp attention to detail and thoroughness with every task.
  • Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift and deadlines do not move.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Gusto or similar payroll experience is a plus.
  • AppFolio and Podio knowledge are helpful and will be trained if needed.

  • Maintain corporate accounts payable in QuickBooks Online and resolve unreconciled amounts on a timely basis.
  • Prepare schedules for internal financial reporting, keep payroll and cash items current on the close calendar, and support intercompany netting with the Staff Accountant.
  • Manage brokerage commission income accruals and reversals, and support Brokermint payout reconciliation as directed.
  • Handle benefits deductions, corrections, and vendor follow up, and support related contractor or supplemental pay platforms as directed.
  • Document and maintain processes for your seat so short absences can be covered, and help implement stronger accounting practices and internal controls.
