About The Position

Prive Wealth Advisory (PWA) is an integral part of GA technologies’ U.S. business conducted under its U.S. operating company, Renosy America LLC, and engaged in a real estate investment business that acquires used single-family homes in the U.S., renovates them, and sells them to investors in Japan. As part of the GA technologies group, PWA is building a cross-border real estate investment platform connecting Japan and the United States. This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time. As the business grows, we are looking for a professional to handle corporate accounting across the full transaction cycle - from property acquisition through renovation to sale. We are seeking someone with hands-on U.S. accounting experience who can also support reporting to our Japan headquarters and investors.

Requirements

• Approximately 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
• Practical experience with international accounting (IFRS, AP/AR, month-end close)
• Experience with accounting systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently

Nice To Haves

• Business-level communication in both Japanese and English (including report writing)

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day and month-end bookkeeping (AP/AR, bank reconciliations, journal entries)
• Accounting for each stage of the property lifecycle: Capitalization of acquisition costs (real estate held for sale / inventory accounting), Tracking and capitalizing renovation costs, and allocating project costs, Recording gain/loss on sale and processing closing statements
• Monthly and quarterly closing (trial balance preparation, account analysis and reconciliation)
• Preparing reports for Japan HQ (translating U.S. GAAP-based figures into the format required by Japan-side reporting)
• Supporting external CPA/tax preparer engagements (annual audit, tax filings)
• Assisting with cash flow management (payment scheduling, cash needs forecasting)
• Vendor invoice processing and payment execution
• Supporting internal controls and process improvement initiatives
• Other accounting-related tasks as directed by the CFO and management team
