About The Position

Stonebridge Companies is a privately owned, innovative hotel development and hospitality management company managing a portfolio of 160+ hotels across the United States. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Corporate Accountant to join our corporate accounting team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys both transactional accounting and exposure to broader corporate accounting functions.

Requirements

3+ years of accounting experience
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
Experience with reconciliations and general ledger accounting
Solid understanding of accrual accounting principles and GAAP fundamentals
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

Experience with QuickBooks
Experience with M3 (hotel accounting system)
Experience with intercompany accounting
Multi-entity accounting experience
Background in hospitality or similar multi-location industries

Responsibilities

Process high-volume Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions with accuracy and efficiency
Manage intercompany transactions and billing, ensuring timely and accurate processing
Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
Maintain and reconcile corporate AR accounts
Assist with financial audits, working closely with external auditors
Identify opportunities to improve processes, accuracy, and efficiency
Perform additional accounting duties as needed
