About The Position

This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product through the production process and ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying the supervisor if machines require maintenance, all while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This role is specifically for team members currently working at the facility or complex.

Requirements

Must have been in their current position 90 days to demote or transfer to another shift or line.
Must have been in their current position 90 days to promote.
No more than four (4) attendance points at the time of job posting.
No written warning at the time of job posting within the last six (6) months.
No suspensions at the time of job posting within the last six (6) months.
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Willing and able to be exposed on a routine basis to warm temperatures ranging from 65-90 degrees, wet and/or humid conditions, slippery floors in some areas, and concrete floors.
Willing and able to be exposed to airborne particles, and a noise level loud enough to require hearing protection.

Responsibilities

Operate the Fryer in the Corn department.
Fill out various log sheets.
Follow all Tyson safety rules.
Monitor the sheeter, make adjustments as needed, and report any issues to the supervisor or lead.
