About The Position
Supports healthcare team by coordinating supplies and equipment for surgery, transportation of specimens, assisting in patient transfer to stretcher under nursing supervision. Maintains room stock and par levels.
Requirements
- Prior Experience or CSS training.
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control standards.
- Hospital practice, procedure and policies.
- Core technologist competency.
- CPR (BLS).
Responsibilities
- Coordination of supplies and equipment for scheduled surgery.
- Restocking and maintaining room par levels.
- Transport of fresh and frozen section specimens, checking specimen log for transport.
- Assisting RN in daily activities.
