About The Position
Responsible for dressing of ceramic cores, visual inspection of ceramic cores, and other various tasks related to preparation for wax pattern injection.
Requirements
- Attention to detail
- Steady hands
- Good visual acuity
- Constant use of both upper extremities to inspect, dress, repair, label and seal core or wax patterns.
- Frequent use of hand tools
- Reach / handle activities at waist, knee, and shoulder.
- Push/lift 10-35 lbs
Responsibilities
- Visually inspects ceramic cores to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Dress cores using wax, hot plates and craft knives.
- Trim flash, fix air bubbles, apply coating(s), apply sealant, assemble parts, keep work area clean.
- Accurately report daily production quantities and labor hours.
