About The Position

This is a temporary, short-term position for an EXP26-06 Core Logging Clerk. The role is based in Nunavik and requires filling 4 positions. The application deadline is May 27th, 2026. The work location is in Nunavik, with a normal work schedule of 11 hours per day on a rotation of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 paid weeks for rest.

Requirements

• Hold a high school diploma (or equivalent)
• Be able to understand, apply, and strictly adhere to work procedures
• Demonstrate rigor, organization, and meticulous attention to detail in the handling of drill cores
• Be able to handle core boxes and lift loads of up to approximately 25 kg
• Be able to stand for extended periods outdoors
• Demonstrate an interest in the mining industry; basic knowledge of geology is an asset
• Possess strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams (geologists, technicians)
• Work with a diverse and multicultural team.
• Autonomy, dynamism, positivity, respect, team spirit and versatility.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain good interpersonal relationships.
• Clear predominance on compliance with health and safety rules and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the classification, storage, and traceability of core samples in accordance with applicable standards and procedures.
• Enter, update, and validate data (depths, intervals, drill hole numbers, etc.) in the tracking system.
• Verify the integrity of the core samples (continuity, losses, box condition) and report any anomalies.
• Track material movements (receipt, transfer, shipment, and archiving).
• Strictly adhere to health and safety standards related to the handling and storage of geological material.
• Perform any other related tasks to support exploration activities.
