About The Position

We are seeking a Software Engineer, Core Java to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate has strong experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, automated testing, AWS, and component design, with the ability to design, develop, and deliver secure, high-quality production software and troubleshoot complex issues end to end. The role is located in New York, NY, and requires an in-person interview. Local candidates only. The client accepts W-2 candidates only; C2C, 1099, and third-party resumes are not accepted. Requirements

Proficiency in Core Java and Spring Boot, including end-to-end component design experience.
At least 3 years of proficiency with automation and testing tools, including unit, integration, and performance testing.
Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and services.
At least 1 year of experience using AI tools to enhance development or operations workflows.
Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in large environments using modern programming and database querying languages.
Knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security fundamentals.

Nice To Haves

Experience working across cross-functional teams and creating Java-based support applications.
Exposure to cloud-native patterns and broader cloud technologies.
Familiarity with React, React Hooks, TypeScript, GraphQL, and SPA patterns.
Experience using Google Analytics, Segment, or Amplitude to inform product decisions.
Understanding of common UX patterns and performance testing practices.
Domain knowledge in financial services systems.
