About The Position
The CORE Agent answers and directs phone calls, chats, and HotSoS requests, takes in-room dining orders, and handles telephone requests and faxes efficiently, courteously, and professionally. The role works to achieve maximum customer satisfaction for In-Room Dining and hotel operations and may take on other requests related to Hotel Communications Agent duties. This is a full-time, on-site role at the Four Seasons hotel in Manhattan. Compensation is $31.85–$42.47 per hour.
Requirements
- High school education or college preferred.
- Previous experience in communications or a similar position preferred.

Responsibilities
- Answer phone and chat inquiries efficiently and in a friendly manner, use guest names when possible, and route calls to the proper extensions.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests accurately, using HotSoS, Opera, Micros, or other computer applications to log and track requests.
- Describe in-room dining menu items to guests, including each item’s origin, taste, and preparation methods.
- Book and confirm reservations for Ty Bar and the Garden using OpenTable, ensuring timing and scheduling match availability.
- Communicate guest orders and any special needs or requests to the kitchen through the hotel’s point-of-sale system.
- Take in-room dining orders, telephone requests, and faxes in a courteous and professional manner.
- Fulfill additional requests related to Hotel Communications Agent duties.
