About The Position

Ghost Sherpa is a team of creatives, developers, and marketers that work behind the scenes to help our clients grow. As a copywriting intern, you'll contribute real work across multiple accounts. You'll work directly under a senior copywriter, supporting our projects across a variety of copywriting tasks. No experience required. We're happy to train the right person from the ground up.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in college or a recent graduate
Strong writer with an eye for tone, clarity, and audience
Detail-oriented with a knack for catching typos and awkward phrasing
Comfortable taking direction and working within brand guidelines
Curious about marketing, SEO, and how great copy drives results
Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize on the fly
Available and responsive for occasional fast-turnaround assignments

Nice To Haves

Prior copywriting, content writing, or agency experience
Familiarity with SEO concepts or keyword-based writing
Experience with AI writing tools like Claude
A portfolio, writing samples, or published work to share

Responsibilities

Blog writing: SEO-focused blogs for our website, guided by outlines and keyword lists from our SEO team
Website content: page updates, new location pages, and full website copy
Ad copy: headlines and descriptions for Google and Meta ads
Email marketing: monthly newsletter copy and sales sequences
Social media: post copy and captions for content plans
Meta data and Google Business Profile: SEO descriptions, titles, and review responses
Proofreading: reports, proposals, and final designs
