About The Position

Kettle is a team of passionate, fearless creatives focused on delivering great products, redefining best-practices, and providing new opportunities for our clients. We are hiring a Copywriter to join our team writing copy for end-to-end digital website projects for one of our largest clients, a Bay Area based creative tech company. In this embedded role, you'll partner with other agency and client side creatives to write copy and campaigns for product launches, seasonal promotions, and more. If the term conceptual digital copywriter resonates, then this role may be for you. These roles require team members to be onsite 5 days per week, for 2-3 months at a time, for specific projects. At other times during the year, the team is remote.

Requirements

• At least 2-4 years of copy experience, including time at a digital agency
• Campaign ideation and execution, across multiple touchpoints
• Product and longform copy experience, writing for websites, corporate communications, etc.
• Ability to shift voice and tone to write for a broad range of clients and brands
• An optimistic and collaborative attitude; genuinely cares about doing great work and working with great people
• Comfort in fluently/logically presenting remotely to internal stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Write copy for end-to-end digital website projects
• Partner with other agency and client side creatives to write copy and campaigns for product launches, seasonal promotions, and more
• Write clear, on-brand copy across product pages, campaign assets, social, email, and more
• Write and edit multiple touchpoints across the user journey for retail, product copy and buyflows
• Brainstorm in creative groups and generate ideas and campaigns that are on-strategy and answer the brief
• Nuance a campaign message across multiple platforms and contexts
• Thread a narrative across longer formats — articles, brand stories, and beyond
