Requirements

Department of Health TB clearance
Must be able to read and write to perform job duties
Must be pleasant, friendly and smiling
Must be at least 18 years of age if serving or selling alcoholic beverages

Responsibilities

Welcome patrons and seat them at tables or in the lounge.
Insure quality and rapidity of facilities and services.
Answer phone and schedule dining reservations.
Direct waithelp and service attendants to insure courteous and rapid service.
Resolve or assist in resolving guest complaints.
Inspect dining room serving stations and equipment for cleanliness and orderly appearance.
Assist waithelp and service attendant in expediting service to guests.
Assist restaurant manager in overseeing the restaurant service staff.
Review daily work schedule and assign work stations.
Review occupancy report and reservations, VIP’s, special requests or occasions.
Greet and welcome guests to the restaurant and seat them at the table, present menu and personalize the service.
Answer telephone promptly and take dining reservations, noting special requests or occasion.
Respond to guest requests or inquires.
Consistently perform tasks as specified on sequence of service standards and SOPs.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and dining room.
Thank guests upon their departure, call valet if needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
Recommend the resort’s restaurants and facilities to guests.
Maintain the cleanliness and adequate par levels of menus.
Assist waithelp and service attendants in expediting service to guests or resetting tables.
