Your Role: Are you known for your organizational skills, resourcefulness, and interest in process improvement? Do you enjoy both the human aspect of recruitment and the operational, administrative, and technological side of human resources? As a Talent Coordinator, you will be the point of contact for Talent activities in the Ottawa region (Ottawa, Kanata, and Gatineau). You will work closely with Talent Business Partners, managers, and our Business Analyst to ensure the smooth operation of our recruitment activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes and tools. This role combines recruitment, Talent operations, documentation, process optimization, and HR systems support.

Requirements

  • DEC or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Administration, or a related field.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in HR coordination, recruitment, or Talent operations.
  • Strong interest in recruitment, HR systems, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with an ATS or HRIS (Dayforce is an asset).
  • Excellent command of Microsoft 365, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Attention to detail and rigor in managing documentation and data.
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the various stages of the recruitment process for the Ottawa region.
  • Create, update, and optimize job postings.
  • Coordinate interviews and ensure follow-ups with candidates and managers.
  • Offer a professional, efficient, and positive candidate experience.
  • Conduct candidate searches for specific targeted mandates.
  • Participate in student recruitment activities and internship programs.
  • Support Talent Business Partners in their various recruitment mandates.
  • Coordinate administrative activities related to recruitment, pre-employment, and onboarding.
  • Ensure the quality and updating of data in Dayforce and other HR tools.
  • Produce and maintain various dashboards, indicators, and administrative follow-ups.
  • Ensure the accuracy of files and data quality.
  • Document, maintain, and evolve the processes, guides, tools, and templates of the Talent team.
  • Participate in the mapping and standardization of recruitment processes and Talent operations.
  • Collaborate with the Business Analyst to document operational needs, optimize processes, and support improvements to our HR systems.
  • Participate in various projects aimed at continuously improving the candidate experience, Talent operations, and team efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development of new practices and tools to support the organization's growth.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees.
  • Prepare and follow up on documentation related to Talent activities.
  • Collaborate with different HR teams to ensure a consistent and quality employee experience.
