Requirements

  • One to three years of project coordination/administration experience in the building construction sector.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience on a construction site and understanding of the construction process.
  • Attention to detail and proficiency in all MS Office applications.
  • Ability to quickly develop working relationships with a wide range of people, both internally and externally.

Nice To Haves

  • An interest and knowledge of the construction industry is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in construction terminology is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Support the project team in all administrative functions and support the on-site Project Accountant.
  • Support Project Managers in the peer review of client reports and in the creation of reports based on information gathered from sites.
  • Compile reports ensuring they meet EllisDon’s expectations.
  • Respond to incoming calls and direct them in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner.
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, prepare and distribute meeting minutes.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, resource room schedules, various spreadsheets, and training materials.
  • Coordinate and organize travel, events, meetings, and moves.
  • Facilitate the identification of risks with each of the construction management teams.
  • Assist project teams in presenting risks and establishing reports.
  • Manage the risk register and collaborate with the risk management team for client risk reporting.
  • Participate in risk workshops and other meetings to identify and manage risks.
