Reporting to the External Warehousing Operations Manager, the Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in managing inbound and outbound shipments, as well as coordinating order transfers to external warehouses through various systems. Working closely with the Inventory and Transportation teams, the incumbent ensures transaction accuracy, lot allocation, and follow-up on uncollected orders. The role is also responsible for managing the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for the dairy distribution center, including receiving, replenishment, and shipping activities, while welcoming drivers and collaborating with multiple internal Agropur teams.

Requirements

  • College diploma (DEC) or Bachelor's degree in Administration, Logistics, Operations, or a related field.
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English. English is required to collaborate with colleagues and customers located in other Canadian provinces.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with inventory management systems, especially SAP and Oracle, is considered a strong asset.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and monitor receiving and shipping transactions for both internal and external warehouses.
  • Monitor and follow up on overdue transactions.
  • Send orders to external warehouses.
  • Manage lot allocations for internal orders.
  • Follow up on uncollected orders with the Transportation and Customer Service teams.
  • Manage the courier shipment system for designated sites.
  • Manage order priorities within the Warehouse Management System and coordinate replenishment activities.
  • Administer the access control system and welcome incoming drivers.
