About The Position

The Warehouse Operations Coordinator reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and works directly with Operations and SCM. This role is accountable for executing warehouse operations duties to support maintenance activities, ensuring the security of all materials under inventory for the construction, operation, and maintenance of the LNG terminal and Pipeline Operations. The coordinator will support daily warehouse operations and system transactions of stock and non-stock items, monitor inbound and outbound shipments, perform cycle counts, manage material movement, and maintain general housekeeping of facilities and storage areas. Dedication to safety and compliance with policies and procedures are essential for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the terminal and facilities.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in warehouse operations and logistics required.
  • Must be forklift operator certified and shall be able to maintain valid for the support of the warehouse operations under his/her supervision.

  • Experience supporting a 24/7 operation facility in the LNG or oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities

  • Meet quality and productivity Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Track manual performance indicators as needed and requested by Supervisor/Manager.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles.
  • Accurately inspect and verify material matches purchase order.
  • Perform various warehouse operations functions, including receiving, transferring, sorting, stocking, palletizing, picking, packing, staging, replenishing, load parts, and cycle counts, throughout the shift using various types of material handling equipment.
  • Issue inventory items against work orders and properly log and process inbound parcel shipments.
  • Operate material handling equipment, such as manlift and forklift.
  • Read, understand, and comply with Company’s operating procedures, policies, guidelines, and day-to-day job instructions.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other applicable regulatory agencies.
  • Perform preventative maintenance as directed by Supervisor/Manager.
  • Ship and track material and equipment sent offsite for repairs or testing.
  • Restock consumables and prepare material in advance (staging) for pick up.
  • Ensure all storage areas are maintained in accordance with government regulations and safety standards, and adequate records and documents are initiated and maintained.
  • Conducts cycle counts for inventory accuracy.
  • Work closely with operations (including maintenance planning) for all material, equipment, and consumables requirements.
  • Provide assistance for tracking shipments and deliveries (when needed).
  • Solve problems and issues related to stock and non-stock material management.
  • Work safely, comply with all safety rules, maintain a clean and safe work area, use equipment and tools safely.
  • Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Report incidents immediately per Company’s HSE standards.
  • Adjust work schedule as required, especially when covering turnarounds and emergency events.
  • Use barcode printers and readers for stock and non-stock items management.
  • Engage in Continuous Improvement activities.
