This role involves evaluating customer needs, preparing reports, and ensuring the integrity of financial and supply chain data through various analysis methods. The position supports higher-level analysts and leadership within a team environment, communicating findings to diverse audiences. Responsibilities include interpreting and applying supply chain policies, proactively identifying problems and opportunities, assisting in the development of business models, and providing analysis to leadership. There is also a potential to mentor, coach, and train staff. The sequestration role specifically works with suppliers to establish lot reserves for a significant number of products and inventory value, requiring daily collaboration with internal stakeholders across Supply Chain and the Department of Laboratory Medicine & Pathology (DLMP). Day-to-day work involves active communication with suppliers and internal teams, a proficient understanding of supply chain systems and processes for monitoring stocking levels and forecasting, and gathering/analyzing data for decision-making. Upcoming strategic work includes optimizing the use of the Surgence application, defining products for sequestration, growing the product portfolio, and supporting forecasting for items with long lead times.
