About The Position

This role coordinates the shipping process and ensures that packages are prepared for shipment in a timely and accurate manner. The company, Merit Medical, is a leading manufacturer and marketer of proprietary disposable medical devices used in interventional, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, particularly in cardiology, radiology, oncology, critical care and endoscopy. Merit serves client hospitals worldwide with a domestic and international sales force and clinical support team totaling in excess of 500 individuals. Requirements

Education equivalent to a High School diploma.
Two years of previous warehouse experience.
Must be able to operate a forklift safely.
Ability to be neat and organized and pay extreme attention to detail.
Must be able to work under strict time constraints and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
Must possess strong interpersonal skills and work well with others.
Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs.

Nice To Haves

Three months of warehouse supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinates the shipping of Merit's products from the warehouse by overseeing Shipping Clerks, verifying information on picking and packing slips, and randomly verifying the accuracy of their work.
Pulls, picks, packs, weighs packages, and places shipping labels on packages according to customer requests.
Coordinates the organization and cleaning of the warehouse, and verifies correct product package locations.
Pulls and packs international product orders and coordinates with international shipping companies.
Pulls and packs sample orders for the Marketing and Sales Departments.
Works on special projects for the Warehouse Manager as needed.
Performs other related duties and tasks as required.
