About The Position

Avita Health System is seeking a dedicated Senior Revenue Cycle Coordinator to join their Patient Financial Services Department at their Crestline location. This role involves analyzing data and completing assessments to implement process improvements that positively impact hospital and professional receivable collections, enhance the patient experience, and ensure compliant billing. The coordinator will also create, coordinate, deliver, and maintain successful education programs for Avita’s Revenue Cycle teams, act as a primary liaison with IT and revenue cycle vendors, and serve as a subject matter expert on Epic functionality.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years hospital or healthcare revenue cycle experience.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Certified Epic Trainer – required within 1 year of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Certification (CHFP, CRCR, CPC).
  • Formal classroom teaching experience with adult learners.
  • Proven success in developing curricula and training resources.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Previous experience building Epic functionality and creating Epic reports.
  • Previous experience with data warehouse such as Dimensional Insight.
