About The Position

We are hiring a People & Culture Coordinator to join our People & Culture Team (Sauna360)! We're looking for a People & Culture Coordinator who is passionate about helping others, providing exceptional service, and creating positive employee experiences every day. This role supports a wide range of People & Culture activities, from onboarding and recruiting coordination to payroll support, compliance administration, and employee services. As one of the first points of contact for staff members and candidates, you'll help build a welcoming and professional experience throughout the employee lifecycle. You'll partner closely with employees, managers, and the People & Culture team to keep processes running smoothly while supporting a positive workplace culture. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Human Resources experience, HR internship experience, office management experience, or relevant coursework that provides a foundation in HR practices.
Understanding of HR fundamentals and interest in building a career in Human Resources.
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Service-oriented mindset with a genuine desire to help employees and candidates succeed.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, calendaring, Word, PowerPoint, and basic Excel skills.
Excellent communication, professionalism, and business etiquette.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
Compliance-focused mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.
Self-awareness and good judgment regarding when to seek assistance or guidance.

Responsibilities

Coordinate onboarding activities and help deliver a seamless, organized, and welcoming experience for new hires from day one.
Serve as a responsive resource for employees and managers, providing superb customer service and day-to-day People & Culture support.
Support employee communications, recognition programs, engagement activities, and cultural events that strengthen connection across the organization.
Maintain employee records, personnel files, and HR system data while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
Assist with benefits administration, payroll audits, employee data changes, attendance tracking, and payroll-related activities that support timely biweekly payroll processing.
Process I-9 documentation, coordinate background checks and employment verification activities, and support HR audits and policy administration.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and contribute to broader People & Culture initiatives that support business growth and employee success.
