We are looking for you! As an Ops Coordinator you will take inbound calls to support and address customer concerns and questions, with a focus on processing and researching customer orders using our SAP computer system. This person may at times make outbound calls to proactively receive orders as well as complete research about the progress of an order. The representative may route calls to other departments if deemed necessary, and will work closely with AR, Admin, Sales Reps, and branches to collaborate to find solutions for customer inquiries. The focus will be to use product knowledge, customer service tools, and acquired sales skills to effectively support and care for each customer in a professional manner. You will also be responsible for billing and inventory management. Along with filing FDA paperwork, and ensuring FDA Compliance in the plant. Provide excellent customer service to our walk in and remote customers Connects customers with and provides industrial, medical and specialty gasses, welding supplies and related equipment to customers Advise customers on equipment and materials needed and procedures to follow to complete tasks they wish to perform. Arranges for delivery of cylinders and hard-goods. Stocking and ordering of plant supplies Filing paperwork Maintain open communication on daily needs

Requirements

  • Computer skills with comprehensive knowledge of computer order entry systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines
  • Ability to routinely lift 25 - 50 lbs., and occasionally lift 51 - 80 lbs., frequent bending
  • Valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • Ability to operate a forklift and become certified
  • Must be able to work overtime, when necessary

Nice To Haves

  • Setup and promotion of welding equipment and processes
  • Some experience in handling compressed gases
  • Customer service or sales experience
  • Prior forklift experience
