About The Position

The Coordinator of Safe Schools supports safe, prepared, and welcoming learning environments across the District. The role works collaboratively with school administrators, staff, families, first responders, and community partners to strengthen emergency preparedness, crisis response, school safety systems, staff training, and student support. The Coordinator also provides leadership in de-escalation, restorative practices, threat assessment, investigations, and implementation of district-wide safety programs and technology.

Responsibilities

• Support safe, prepared, and welcoming learning environments across the District.
• Collaborate with school administrators, staff, families, first responders, and community partners.
• Strengthen emergency preparedness, crisis response, and school safety systems.
• Support staff training and student support related to school safety.
