About The Position

The Coordinator of Marketing plays a key role in sharing SAA’s story with the wider world. This on-site position leads marketing and outreach efforts that enhance visibility, strengthen enrollment, and support advancement initiatives. Working closely with the Director of Enrollment & Admissions, the Head of School, and the Administrative team, the Coordinator of Marketing captures and promotes the spirit of our school through creative campaigns, digital storytelling, and mission-driven design. This role reports directly to the Head of School. The ideal candidate is a creative self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys being part of a school community, and believes in the power of education to transform lives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, design, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience, ideally in education or nonprofit settings.
  • Strong design and layout skills; proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
  • Experience with website management, SEO, and digital marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Genuine interest in gifted education, creativity, and lifelong learning.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies that support Admissions, Advancement, and community engagement.
  • Manage the marketing calendar, coordinating with Enrollment and Advancement.
  • Capture authentic photos and videos of daily life at SAA for use across platforms.
  • Design materials for print and digital media, including brochures, event graphics, and newsletters.
  • Oversee social media channels and website updates to ensure brand consistency and dynamic storytelling.
  • Manage SEO, digital advertising, and analytics to expand SAA’s reach and evaluate campaign impact.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to highlight student experiences and special programs.
  • Partner with the Advancement Office on marketing for events such as the Annual Benefit, Annual Fund, and community campaigns.
  • Actively participates in the daily life of the school.
