Working as a nurse in an assisted living facility offers a unique set of benefits compared to working in a hospital setting. The pace in assisted living facilities is generally slower, as the residents are often stable and require less critical or emergency care. This results in a less stressful work environment compared to a hospital. The Position: Registered Nurse - Assisted Living Facilities Schedule: 4 days a week, flexible, with a weekend rotation from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The Assisted Living Facility Nursing Case Manager is a Registered Professional Nurse who administers skilled nursing care to patients requiring professional nursing service in an assisted living facility.
Requirements
- NYS RN license
- Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent Clinical skills
- Superior communication skills
- Basic knowledge of office applications and equipment (Outlook, Word, Printing and scanning applications)
Responsibilities
- Administers skilled nursing care to patients requiring professional nursing service in an assisted living facility.
