About The Position

You will work a special schedule, which includes standard business hours but may also require you to work additional hours to meet operational needs. This could include occasional evenings or weekends. Travel is necessary to ensure that individual needs are addressed. You are responsible for designing and implementing individualized behavior support plans, informed by thorough functional behavior assessments. You serve as a key trainer and mentor, coaching direct care staff and interdisciplinary team members on principles of ABA, crisis prevention, and effective data collection. You are constantly collaborating with program leadership to build a cohesive behavioral support system that promotes consistent, long-term success. On any given day, you may find yourself providing in-person crisis support, supervising Behavior Specialists, or ensuring that all documentation meets the high standards of various governing bodies. It is a day-to-day role where you are constantly assessing, adapting, and empowering those around you to achieve their full potential.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in behavior analysis, psychology, social work, or a related field
  • BCBA certification
  • 3 to 5 years of post-graduate experience assessing, implementing, developing, and overseeing behavior intervention programs and Functional Behavior Assessments
  • Experience working with people with special needs or in a residential care setting
  • A commitment to obtain CPR, First Aid, and non-violent physical intervention certifications within 3 months of hire and maintain certifications during employment
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
  • Reliable transportation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to learn and use other software, such as web-based portals, etc.

  • Experience in Positive Behavior Supports (PBS), Trauma-Informed Care, and ABA strategies
