We are currently hiring for the position of: COORDINATOR, MARKET PROGRAMMING The Coordinator, Market Programming, will work within a small programming team to support the logistics and delivery of, and provide on-site support for, the 2026 TIFF: The Market Programming, including Creative Development & Labs, Business Initiatives, Innovation Hub and the Speakers’ Summit.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in the Canadian or international film industries or live event production
  • Knowledge of Canadian and international film landscapes
  • Exceptionally strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Able to handle difficult situations and people with professionalism and grace
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills, and experience with Google Suite applications
  • Adaptable to a flexible work schedule, including some evenings and weekends
  • Candidates must be legally able to work in Canada at this time.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in film festivals is an asset
  • Knowledge of other languages is an asset
  • Experience with Artifax is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Working on the formal invitation process for Summit, Business and Partner Initiatives, Innovation Hub, and Creators’ Labs participants, guests, and moderators, including collecting materials and managing follow-ups
  • Conducting guest speaker and industry research, and preparing comprehensive moderator briefing packages
  • Email correspondence with Summit guests, external partners, and Creators’ Labs participants for logistics and itineraries
  • Supporting the Manager, Market Programming Admin on venue and technical logistics for sessions and events
  • Preparing and reviewing material to ensure accuracy of all content, including guest names, event titles, sponsor and partner acknowledgements
  • Creating and maintaining detailed and comprehensive database (Artifax) records for Market Programming events
  • Compiling and updating Project Books, itineraries, and schedules for Market guests
  • Supporting on stats for reporting and proposals
  • Providing on-site support at Summit, Initiatives or Labs as needed, including greeting guests and participants
  • Other coordination tasks and duties as assigned
