Our Respiratory Therapist treat a range of patients; from premature infants whose lungs are not fully developed to elderly people with lung disease. Our RTs are skilled in assessment, airway management, resuscitation, patient education, pulmonary disease management, and mechanical ventilation which are essential for optimized care. As a frontline employee RT’s cover the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, Labor & Delivery, and OB departments.

Requirements

  • Associate's in MLT or Bachelor's in MT Required
  • AMLT Certification or Equivalent Required within 1 year of hire

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's in Medical Laboratory Science Preferred
  • ASCP or Equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supports high-quality patient care by performing diagnostic testing on patient specimens to assist physicians in the diagnosis and monitoring of disease states.
  • Assists with training and oversight of laboratory personnel as assigned
  • Responsible for Laboratory Information System (LIS) functions, including system file maintenance and support of the laboratory quality assurance program.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable quality, safety, and regulatory standards while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and confidentiality in all laboratory operations.
