About The Position

The Coordinator, Imaging CT is the glue that pulls together a dynamic team of imaging professionals and the customers they serve. This role ensures that the imaging department and its processes run smoothly through deft coordination of day-to-day operations, embodying the Legacy mission of making life better for others. Requirements

  • Graduate of certified Radiologic Technology School and program required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in imaging and/or other clinical modality required.
  • Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions.
  • National registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiology (ARRT-R) or Nuclear Medicine (ARRT-N) required.
  • CT certification (ARRT-CT) required.
  • Current state license in Radiography or Nuclear Medicine required for all employees who perform this job in the state of Oregon.
  • Current Radiologic Technologist Certification required for all employees who perform this job in the state of Washington.
  • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers.

Nice To Haves

  • Three years of experience preferred.
  • One year in a supervisory or coordinator role preferred.
  • Supervisory course work preferred.
  • Working knowledge of CQI principals preferred.
  • Medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates department functions to allow services to be delivered expediently and efficiently through effective organization of staff and workflow.
  • Maintains knowledge of department procedures in order to provide assistance throughout the patient care continuum.
  • Proficient in the field of CT.
  • Direct supervision is provided by the Supervisor/Manager of the department.
